The 2013 Wilmington Sharks Family would like to thank everyone who helped the Sharks have a very special season. Our sponsors, host families, post game meal providers, interns, employees and everyone else who rolled up their sleeves when we needed you......THANK YOU!
The season brought us some good and amusing memories that we will never forget. Our first home game with no music! Our loveable owner, Lew, being at every home game. Braylon the 5 year old trying to date every gal over 15. The relationships built with the interns , management and the fans. $1 beers every night, Zach Stevens’ bat and Kevin, just to name a few!
On the diamond, the Sharks made another playoff appearance thanks to a late season push brought on after the passing of longtime equipment manager, Kevin Cerasuolo. The team rallied around Coach Ryan and his leadership to try and bring the Petit cup home for "Big Kev". We fell short to the eventual CPL champions but a good season no doubt.
To the entire Wilmington community and surrounding area, the Sharks say thanks! It is, without a doubt, your commitment, support and love for the sharks and baseball that makes what we do fun!
We are currently busy in the treehouse preparing for 2014 which we hope will be even better than 2013!Back to News
